    Default SSL certificate issue

I recently moved my cart to another server, and I guess there is somewhere the SSL certificate is referred to. Guests now get an error pop-up dialog that says something like "The name on the security certificate is invalid or does not match".

    Any ideas?

when you change hosts you will need to have a new csr and your certificate re-issued.

and make sure that if your site uses https://www that your cert is configured with the www in it.

Gack! Who (whom?) issues it? My ISP? And what is meant by "issued"? Is in placed somewhere on my server?

If you work with your new host to obtain a new certificate, they will look after all the technical details for you.

I am having this same problem and my certificate appears to be issued to curious-workmanship.com, but all my secure stuff is at www.curious-workmanship.com. Will it still work if I change my includes/configure.php and admin/includes/configure.php to https://curious-workmanship.com instead of https://www.curious-workmanship.com (which is what it is now)?
