    Broken code with the SEO is not going to help PayPal work correctly if it breaks that too ...

    If you turn off the SEO does the PayPal work correctly with the new updates?

    Updated the IPN / Express thing and now Express works fine (and IPN.) I hope the SEO mod is fixed because it worked great (except for the PayPal and check out problems.)

    No. The SEO mod bug is a bug in that contribution, not in the Paypal module.

    If this has already been posted my apologies. I too have had the problem with receiving money from paypal, but not getting the order. I have found out that the orders are stored in the admin area under customers/paypal IPN. This is one extra step for me, but as long as I get the order information that is all that matters.

    Upadte from the above post. It appears that all the orders are there prior to upgrade to 1.3.7.1 after that no orders are there. Sorry

    Please turn on debug log-to-file in your PayPal module, then do some test transactions, and then download, zip, upload, and post a link to the logs.

    this appears to work correctly as the shopper does get back to our site after paypal process.

    I would be most grateful if someone could help in this regard, and suggest a fix as the shop is currently live, and we have had a couple of PayPal orders already and I am having to ask the customer for 'which items they bought' as I have no idea, only the amount they spent!

    Please help if you can.
    I have this exact problem where Paypal just listed "Purchase from ND Trading Enterprises" and product ID is 1. I read this thread but do not understand how to solve this problem so the correct product description is passed to Paypal so we know what the customer ordered.     Zen Cart doesn't pass the details to PayPal when using the IPN module. It only passes the full details if you're using the Express Checkout module.

    You're probably posting because you've discovered that your orders aren't showing up in Zen Cart after payment was made at PayPal. That issue is a communications problem between your server and PayPal. There is a lengthy FAQ talking about those issues here:

    I finally got a transaction I was able to get a log on with the PAYPAL not passing back the order. It was an echeck... here is the link to the log... http://www.foilman.com/store/include...05112_qFkg.log

    I NEED HELP ASAP!!!! This is happening WAY too much and it is too late by the time I find out because my customers are already made their orders are 1 1/2 weeks late cause they wait a week to get it and I didn't even start to ship yet cause I didn't know about it!!! WE NEED A FIX PLEASE!!

    Thanks Dr. Byte. So I won't be able to see what the customer order: product description and ID from Zen Cart unless I use Express checkout module?

    I've read the FAQ from the wiki page and checked everything it says there but it did not work. My customer and test orders still return in "purchase from ND Trading" description instead of real product description.

    Thanks for any help.
