Just installed Zencart and get msg in store: Congrats on installing Zencart bla bla..
where is the removal option on this? have been in define_page and removed the text there but this text wasnt there

You should make sure you are using the template overrides. See this tutorial - http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7263 and also look in the Wiki.
So, you would actually edit the file
includes/languages/english/YOUR_CUSTOM_TEMPLATE/index.php
This will save problems when upgrading and make it easier for people to diagnose problems you ask about.
