Hey - imagine this scenario:

The downloads section can be restored within a few minutes and all files made available a few minutes later. (Yes it is true - this could happen)

Then along comes Billy No Brains Hacker and finds the file in which he inserted an exploit which allows him to compromise the server again. Oops - sorry everyone, Zencart.com is offline again and you have to start over. How jolly.

Or imagine this:

Dev team dumps everything back online and don't bother sorting the files. People complain incessantly about this fix and this mod not working with their version of Zencart. Suddenly the Dev team are to blame and the reputation of Zencart suffers.

Both these scenarois are realistic and COULD happen if the Dev team did not care about their project. Luckily they do care and probably are even now poring over the code to get the downloads up and running again.

Be patient and stop complaining, or get your hand in your pocket and pay for a Dev team member to take a day off work (yes they actually have regular jobs too) so they can concentrate on giving you what you want. No? Didn't think so!

(These are my views and not the views of the Dev Team)
