SQL Update Script Help

I am trying to make fine configuration changes for my zencart installation and would like to be able to change some of the default settings via a single sql script.

At the moment I have managed to do some of the changes but I am stuck on the following and was wondering if anyone could offer any assistance please.

The following are what I would like to change/delete etc:

Delete the Florida tax zone.
Delete the Taxable Goods tax rate
Delete the Taxable Goods tax class
Disable/uninstall the Flat Rate shipping module
Install Check/Money Order payment module
Install the zen cart free charge card payment module
Install the paypal payment module

Any help will be greatly received :)

I am sure that the things you want to do are all contained in the admin section for your ZenCart install.

They are in different tabs within the admin

Hi yes i have found these in the admin panel, but I am a script type person from days gone by and would like to have these changes taken care of via a single sql update script but I am having a few problems locating the correct table fields.

Can anyone offer any assistance?

You may be a script person but get over it...

Why would anyone want to 'delete these' when you can just turn them off?

2. These are in the geo_zones, tax_rates, zones_to_geo_zones tables:

Delete the Florida tax zone.
Delete the Taxable Goods tax rate

3. "Delete the Taxable Goods tax class"
I do NOT recommend deleting the default tax class. In a properly configured site, this "should" be attached to all products by default... but most folks miss this step and end up having to manually reconfigure all products for taxation.

Would I be right in thinking that you are planning a "standard" ZC for use with your own customers?

If so, just set one up as you want it and save the files and a db dump to your hard drive, then use that for new installations.
