Which version of Ty_package_Tracker are you using?
This bug was found on the beta version but the updated version fixed the bug.

Ty_Package_Tracker v1.3 does not have the capibility to add/change the tracking carrier from Admin. This feature was added to Ty_Package_Tracker v2.1.

Ty_Package_Tracker v2.1 can be downloaded at http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?ma...roducts_id=167

To change the carrier on Ty_Package_Tracker v1.3, you will have to edit 2 files. The name of the files and instructions to change it are located in the README file.

Does anyone know where I can find the file to edit the text for the email the customer receives when you update the tracking number?

I tried using Developers Tool Kit and no luck locating any of the text from the email.

Any help would be great!

The New Staus doesn't show up in my emails. Before I loaded this module I had to change email_template_order_status.html because it was showing the new status twice i.e. New Status: Shipped Shipped

I changed: <div>$EMAIL_TEXT_STATUS_LABEL $EMAIL_TEXT_NEW_STATUS</div>
To: <div>$EMAIL_TEXT_STATUS_LABEL</div> and it solved that problem but now it is gone.

BTW: Great mod!

I assume this is just for tracking packages. Is their a module for DHL shipping estimator for the shopping cart?

To modify the email text , you have to modify the file
/admin/ty_package_tracker.php around line 91-95.

I am having a small problem with this mod. I installed everything and i have no options under Admin>Ty Package Tracker to specify package carriers or tracking links...

why separate the tracking from the order.
i loved how it was before, dont need to go to an other menu.
now when i show an order , it did not display the tracking
i have to go to ty package to see all the tracking.

It looks like you are missing the file:
admin/includes/languages/english/ty_package_tracker.php

If you renamed the folder admin to something else, make sure you also rename the admin folder in the my tracking package.
