Renaming a shipping method?

I have been searching for quite a while trying to find information about this, and have found nothing. I apologize if it has been addressed before. I have found many useful things on the forums, but haven't found anything about this:

In my shopping cart, I have a per item shipping. It currently says "Per Item (Best Way)" when the option is enabled.
I would rather it not say, "(Best Way)" and I would actually like to put something else in there. I am intending on using this for USPS Flate Rate $4.05 -- would it be easier to sign up with USPS and use the USPS module?
If not, where can I edit/change the name of the per item shipping method?
