number of units in stock display

I have searched the admin pages and cannot find a way to disable the units in stock from being displayed on the products pages. We are not interested in tracking stock levels this way at the present time so the display may cause confusion for the customer. If there is not an option to configure it, do I need to edit a template so that it does not display?

Admin > Catalog > Product Types - click on the Edit Layout button and you'll see switches for all sorts of items that can be displayed on the product info page.
