Torn between OScommerce and Zen-Cart, Features available?

I already installed ZenCart and have everything what I needed now, except a configurator

Do you think it's worth it to change to CRE? I checked their website and it looked very interesting, thanks for the tip. But I think the feature I need is named Sub-Product Choices (Pro Only) and would cost me 100 Dollar additional.

If anyone has a solution for me, that would be great, if not, I might have to switch to CRE or something else

cre comes with many mods already installed and they have Professional support. Not sure if its good or not. Seems cool. Alot of stuff going on over there. i am also checking out miva merchant.

remember that with CRE you get all the neat security holes and legacy code that zen cart moved away from......

but Zen cart will do everything you are looking for ( affiliate is a third party add on, look in recomended products ) but no there isnt a custom configurator.

However this can easily be done with attributes.

I already found a affiliate module :) , which is pretty good and wasn't expensive, only 13 Dollars. You can find it on http://www.zencart-hosting.de

They also have several other modules for free. Its in German, but the affiliate program is also in englisch.

Because of the configurator, what do you mean by attributes, I'm a newbie and have no clue what you mean by that. Sorry.
