Default Modifying Category List When Pricing By Attribute

    Hey Folks,

I've got three product categories on a site with one of the categories having all product prices set by attributes.

The result is that on category pages, you see the lowest-priced item as the item price and a "more info" link below it, rather than the "Add to Cart" input box.

The issue I'm having -- and am sure others have had it too -- is that it's not clear from this default display that you have multiple quantities available at different prices for those products.

My concern is that this display will confuse customers.

Anyone know of any alternatives? The whole idea is to have people be CLEAR as to what options are available, or at least that other quantities/prices are available.

    Thanks,

    Anthony

If I understand you don't have the add to cart button showing which is what I would have thought was clear - you could change the more info text to read options available or see options or somthing like that? If you have set the attribute to be included in the base price in the Attributes Controller doesn't the price say From or Starting at?

There is not the ability to put the attribute choices on the Product Listing page and because the customer has to make a choice of some sort. It is necessary for them to go to the Product's detail page. You can change the words "more information" to something else or add different button by calling an image from the language file.

Sorry - didn't mean to mislead if my post read as suggesting the attributes could be seen on the listing page - that wasn't the intention ;-)
