Buy Now Button

This is confusing the hell out of me. In admin/All Listing (1.2.7d onwards) there is the options to show a Buy Now Button:

Display Product Buy Now Button 1300

I have set the digits to every conceivable combination and nothing shows up a Buy Now Button. I get blank line breaks but no Button.

Can somebody please tell me the secret before I go mad?

Forget it - I figured it out myself. For anyone else who finds themselves confused in this situation here is how to change the quantity box to an Add To Cart Button on the All Products listings Page (also works for the New Products page but not the Specials page):

In Zencart Admin go to Configuration and Choose All Listing. Locate "Display Multiple Products Qty Box Status and Set Button Location" and set it to '0'. Next locate "Display Product Buy Now Button" and set this to '1302' or whichever seequence you prefer. The Add To Cart Button will now show instead of the Quantity box.

Thanks Patski for the willingness to post your thoughts. Don't suppose you know why it does not work on the Featured Products page do you? It is weird how the same settings only show the More Info Text on this page.

What you did has to be done in all four sections to show the buy now button.

# New Listing

# Index Listing

Index Listing does not have the same settings as NEW, Featured and All Listing. There is no option on index listing to display a Buy Now or ADD To Cart button. All other three pages have identical settings but only Featured Listing does not have the Buy Now Button.

Set all settings ...

Go to Catalog ...

Click on a Category with more than 1 Product ...

See if it looks right for you ...

I am not sure if I have missed something here but I don't understand how your answer resolves the question. I have products listing, new products and all products set to display the add to cart button. I want all the listing pages to show the add to cart button, including featured products.

Products Listing shows More Info (instead of add to cart button) - more info takes you to the product detail page.

Featured Products shows More Info (instead of add to cart button) - more info takes you to the product detail page.

All Products - shows the Add To cart Button

New Products Shows the Add To Cart Button

Everything in admin looks as it should.

What am I missing? I have the column grid mod installed - doubtful this is conflicting?

(Currently the store is offline on a local server - I will upload it tomorrow and test on UNIX). Am I losing the plot LOL
