    NOTE: your e-books do not appear to be setup right ...

    It looks like you are using READONLY Option Name Option Type and that is for display purposes so that you can easily change text ...

    This is not used for Downloads or any other Attribute for Options ...

    You should be using either Dropdown, which when there is only 1 Option Value will revert to a selected radiobutton ... or, you should be using Radiobutton and be sure to set a default ...

    these are the same values that worked in the oscommerse just imported them via the instructions in the faq every aspect of the site seems to work that I have tested so far except the search. The search didn't work with the default template either

    Your issue was a bad/corrupt tpl_advanced_search_result_default.php file ... it was 0 bytes ... ie: empty.

    This can happen from time to time especially with FTP timeouts ... but it is all better now!
