Default Help restoring database - nothing seems to work

OK..i've been doing this for hours now. I've done a fresh install of Zencart 1.3.01. I backed up my database through phpmyadmin on my old site. I've gone through the restore bit. It looked like it went in, but the site still shows a fresh install. I Put my configure.php files from my old site in there, even changed the names of the database and the SQL server info. All that did was make it to where when I refreshed my site, it went to a 404 error saying zc_install could not be found. Of course it can't ... i deleted it after the fresh install was done!

No matter what I do, it goes back to that! I'm trying to move this entire site before June 10th or this host is gonna charge me another month.

    Need more information.

you did a backup. ... assuming from the old host
you did "the restore bit" .... ? ... what exactly did you do here?
"when I refreshed the site" .... which site? what URL? what's the URL of the "old" site?

I did my restore through phpmyadmin on the new site at http://c11.servage.net/~sc20038-PLDS/store
(this is my temp url while I build the site back up). the old site - and i feel i have to give warning - is an adult fetish site at trampledelights.com/store

Your site is hosted on an Apache server - not Windows.

That or you could re-install and put in the "zen_" prefix on the db settings page. Of course you should be able to change this in the config file(s) as well.

Since you're trying to restore your old database, the easiest way is to set your configure.php files to use the same table prefixes as the old site had.

Changing the prefixes can be done later, after you have your data up and running.

My main issue right now is that it keeps trying to read the zc_install folder...when I deleted it after install.

    going to http://c11.servage.net/~sc20038-PLDS/store/

pops up a 404 error saying that
The requested URL /~sc20038-PLDS/store/zc_install/index.php was not found on this server.
