Default Installing over a working CRE Loaded install

    Hi-

Wondering what, if any, precautions are required to install ZenCart over a CRE Loaded install that is working...

I uploaded the files to a different directory (ie: instead of "catalog" it's in "storefront")

The installer for ZenCart has all the green lights to go ahead.

I just don't want to interfere with the working store until such time as I have this ZenCart store running. Then, we'll dump the other (CRE) store and migrate to Zen.

    Thanks in advance!

Make sure your databases are totally separate.

I think I have access to only one DB...
I'll check with my ISP to see if I can get access to another.

    Probably necessary - right?

It's simpler to have a 2nd database. If you don't have a 2nd database, when you install Zen Cart, be sure to use a "table prefix" .... perhaps "zen_" to keep old and new tables separate.
