IE Bug on Contact us page? See Pic

I have a strange bug with the field set lines in IE.

I have the following CSS used.

FIELDSET {
padding: 0.5em;
margin: 0.5em 0em;
border: 1px solid #FF9600;
}

See the pic attched for a clearer idea? Does anyone know of a work around for crappy IE?

The only solution is to get deeply into bug fixes for how IE handles CSS incorrectly. Code in Firefox - then sort out all the IE bugs - or code in IE and don't worry about w3c compatibility (not recommended).

Cheers for that, I will try and find out the reason for this. If anyone else come across this problem let me know what you did to fix it.

That's completely normal for IE and does not break any of the W3C recommendations. You will notice that IE always places a scrollbar on a webpage even when there's no content to scroll. In fact just about every Windows application does this, it's not much of an issue really.

It's not the scroll bars i'm worried about, it's the orange border I have round the contact form. You can see from the next screen shot IE7 beta is differnt again. I have a strage I have a strange 2 or 3 pixel line in the top right hand corner.

and there is no marin on the right hand side of the form.

I see, try increasing the right margin by an em or so.
