Changing screen width

Hi,

I am using zen cart 1.301
I have modified the Purpleshades template set for version 1.3+

I am having a problem changing the screen width from 100% to 998px
I have found all instances of 100% in the css stylesheet and changed that to 998px.

However, things do not line up perfectly and it appears as though there may be more instances of 100%.

Currently everything is set to 100%

look for

#mainWrapper {
background-color: #ffffff;
text-align: left;
width: 100%;
vertical-align: top;
}

change tho 100% to your number of choice (998px) and Bob is your mother's brother!

Thanks - I guess I needed to be more clear on my problem,

I have changed:
#mainWrapper {
background-color: #ffffff;
text-align: left;
width: 100%;
vertical-align: top;

To:
#mainWrapper {
background-color: #ffffff;
text-align: left;
width: 998px;
vertical-align: top;

AND ALL OTHER INSTANCES of 100% to 998px - - - - as you can see there is a slight problem with the header and footer not looking exactly right.

change the others back to 100%.

to set the width of your shop you only need to change mainwrapper
