    Default Re: Time Zone Offset

    Hi Gilby,

I'm in Melb also and just moved to a US server, so now need this mod.

Is this mod supposed to change the write date of the order to the database?

In the status comments when viewing the order there is no change - it is still out by 17 hours. Is this right?

To me this seems to be one of the essential places to have the right time - when ordered, when updated, etc.

If it does not do this then what does it do?

    Thanks in advance, Max.

    No that is not right.
One of its main purpose is to correct the order details
You must have not installed it correctly
Have you adjusted the time offset setting to 17 (hours)?

    Hi Gilby,

    Thanks for the fast reply.

Everything seems to have installed OK.

Have added the code to SuperOrders also.

    SQL went in fine.

In Admin>My Store set time zone offset to +17

Uploaded the optional files also (dispalys fine at top of admin).

Checked the extraconfigs - already set to Melbourne - so no probs there.

Place an order and the timestamp in comments is still the US server time.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks, Max

has anyone had problems with the latest release of filezilla not overwriting or copying all of the files properly?? I think that may be the problem (with this and some other things).

Thanks lots Gilby for the great contribution

    Glad its sorted
Some ftp problems seem to be dodgy at times, although I thought that was one of the better ones.

Hi Max, I have noticed that you have added the code to SuperOrders, Just wondering if you could be so kind as to let me know what the code is and where it needs to go re: superorders,

I asked about this a couple of pages back, but didn't get any response. My previous post re: this is below.

Would much appreciate your help with this one.

    TIA

Thanks for this great mod. I am using super orders and was wondering which file/files I would have to add the timezone code into to get the correct time showing in super orders edit.

From what I can see, the only file which would be conflicting is the admin>orders.php as I have also an admin>super_orders.php

Normal admin orders edit is showing correct timezone.

    TIA

You need to set the PHP time by adding the file
    admin/includes/extra_configures/time_offset.php file

Change the line in the file from:
    putenv ('TZ=Australia/Melbourne');
    to reflect your time zone

    Hi there,

I've installed this mod with no apparent problems, however, today i've noticed a couple of issues:

    1. My ZC counter history on the Admin homepage is incorrect. As of 17:00 GMT+1 on the 25th April, it is showing 500 hits and counting on the 26th April - what time zone is the counter history using?

    2. When an order comes through, the payment time and the ZC timestamp on the payment are different:

    24/04/2009 17:23:06 Pending Transaction ID:
    PPRef:
    AuthCode:
    Payment Type:
    Timestamp: 2009-04-25 10:23:04
    Payment Status: Completed
AVS Code: AVSADDR: Y, AVSZIP: Y, IAVS: Y
    CVV2 Code: Y
    Amount:

    25/04/2009 01:23:04 Pending

I am running 1.3.8a on a server in the USA with GMT-7. My timezone offset is set as +8 to reflect DST in the UK at GMT+1.

Any help would be much appreciated.
