Paypal Web Site Payment Pro Setup

I have signed up for the paypal paymnet pro and according to their documentation, I can collect the credit card information and processing from my site.

Is this true for zen cart? I am using version 1.2.3D

Is it possible for someone to provide me the document######## on how to set up the paypal payment pro?

    Thanks In Advance

    DS

No- this is not true for Zen Cart. We do not have the express checkout or the other requirements for the PayPal Pro program unless you want to collect the CC information and manually input it into your web interface for each sale.

There is a 3rd party who does have a payment module that will set up and allow you to use PayPal Pro.

Please remember that the third party in question clearly states that the module doesnt meet paypals terms of service and to use at own risk.

with that being said the development team has stated time and time again that zen cart can not support paypal pro at this time.

Possibly in the future when the checkout is totally redone.

Ask Yahoo if their cURL is by proxy. If so you will need to add extra code to your script

Just as an aside. I had looked into WPP. I had even signed up for the sandbox and developer access. This was almost a year ago.

From what I remember, and it is possible that this has changed, but if you offer WPP as your credit card processor, you are also forced to offer PayPal. If someone who has a PayPal account comes to your website and wants to pay via credit card, but NOT PayPal; their payment will be declined, and they will be told that they need to choose PayPal to make the payment.

I didn't want to take a chance of someone just walking away because of the decline.

Go to the forums for the WPP Sandbox and ask the above scenerio as a use case and see what they say.

    My 2 cents.

    Bob
