Default Processes Fine, but not to Authorize.net

I have everything perfect, the purchases process within ZenCart, but doesn't go to Authorize.net

I have the authorize account info set and everything - It is not going through, though.

    - Your credit card could not be authorized for this reason. Please correct any information and try again or contact us for further assistance.

But there is no information after this. It doesn't say what this reason is.

    Thanks,

    Lou Storiale

Do you have SSL installed for your website? You can't connect to Authorize Net without it.

Does it just have to be installed on the server because there is nothing in the admin section that mentions you have to input the SSL certificate key or anything

there are no SSL-settings to configure for the authorize.net module

The reference is to having SSL enabled on your website.

ie: do your checkout pages start with HTTPS ?

What is the URL to your site?

    1. It looks like your domain doesn't have SSL support available in your hosting configuration.

    2. You do not have SSL support enabled in your Zen Cart setup. ... and you can't enable it until your hosting account is set up to support SSL

Basically, this means you need to purchase an SSL certificate and then have your hosting company install it. There will likely be additional costs involved, both for the certificate purchase, plus the monthly cost of a dedicated IP... and maybe a fee to install the certificate once purchased.

Best to talk to your host at this point...
