Multiple choices for making a donation

Besides the products offered on the catalog, if you want to offer for someone to make a donation, how can you set the attbibutes to allow it. I have made the option name as Amount and then I made option values 10 20 30 40 50. The item comes up on the catalog, but when you chose say 20 I want it to go to check out and allow them to give 20.00. All that happens now is the flat rate of shipping shows up, which I don't want. I also turned the "product controlled by attribute in the admin. (ver 1.31) I did look for a thread that had this but didn't see one, so if there is and you know where it is please direct me.

What Option Type did you set for the Option Name?

Mark the Product as a Virual Product so that it does not require shipping ...

Okay I did that and the shipping doesn't show up any more, but I selected 20 and 20 dowesn't show up in the totals.

I think I figured it out. I went to the attribute controller, highlighted the "make donation" went down to each of the "Price and Weights" section and put in the proper amounts. They show up and work. Thanks

Sorry ... I did not realize you had not put in the Price of the Donation ...

I am trying to set up donations for my site as well. But I do not know how to set up a virtual product. Could someone help me out? Thanks.

When adding/editing the Product there is a choice for:

Product is Virtual: Yes, Skip Shipping Address No, Shipping Address Required

Is there a way to have the user input the donation amount? Basically, a user defined price attribute.
