Future Zen and Categories Box

Hi there;
I just downloaded Future Zen, and I'm trying to give a little touch to the side boxes. For instance Categorie name is too close to left border. The last Categorie in the side box is too close to bottom border, etc , etc.
I've been working ( ? ) with tpl_categories and categories.php but because I'm a newbie I'm getting crazy.
Anyone could help me with some clue ?
