Checkbox problem

Need help guys! I have all my products as downloadable and so basically they require attributes to attach the file, right? But let's just say these products have their default file in zip and also has the tar.gz version. What I need to know is if it can be done by a checkbox than a radio button. Also if it can also be toggled inside shopping cart contents for ease for customers.

There are no tests on checkboxes ...

Radiobuttons and Dropdowns can have defaults, display only, etc.

Make an Option Name: Download Method (Radio Button or Dropdown)
Option Values:
Zip
tar.gz

And add the appropriate filename to each ...

Note: Be sure there is a default or a display only/default if you use an Option Type Radiobutton so that they have to make a choice ...

The display only is to make the first Option Value something like:
Download Method: Pick your poison ... (Sort Order 0)

Then add it as Display Only, Default

I see. If that's the case, how will I make products in any kind of listing the capability of users to Add To Cart an item with its Default Download Option? Because I believe ZenCart hides this button to products with options.

Oh, I'm so sorry. I just simply wanted to know how to make the 'Add To Cart' button get a product with the Default option. Because what the button does right now is to take the customer back to the info page to make a choice.

Oh, I'm so sorry.

Um, currently, I only enabled two things that does listings of products. The search result and the category page.

It seems that when I create products with radio-type options, the Add To Cart button is replaced by the More Info link.

But now that I managed to bring out the Add To Cart button on each item, what the button does right now is to take the customer back to the product info page to make a choice.

I just simply wanted to know how to make the 'Add To Cart' button get a product with the Default option, taking the customer to the Shopping Cart contents.

Still sound complicated?
