insert extra field to _customers

hello,
our shop is affiliated with another company. we need to insert an extra field to the zen_customers. i called it 'customers_qid'. where in the files that i can add the insert method...so whenever someone creates an account, an extra id is set to the database...

Depending on what you're trying to do, if you do not wish to show your additional field into the customer's front form, you can simply edit your includes/modules/create_account.php file and add your field into the insertion statements (SQL) and add your captured query on top of each.

do you know the difference in the create_account module between 1.2.x (1.2.6) and 1.3.0.1 ....since there's no /module/crearte_account.php file in 1.2.6

All the answers you're looking for, on this, can be found within the latest version of Zen Cart from the download package of v1.3.1 under the docs folder. I'd suggest upgrading to that version in order to keep your store up-to-date.

there's a 1.3.1 version now !! or u meant 1.3.0.1
