    Default Continue Shopping and Checkout buttons css style?

    Two questions regarding the Continue Shopping and Checkout buttons:

    (i) They seem to be buttons, but show up as regular links. Any good/easy way to actually display them as buttons (or am I missing a setting)?

    (ii) Can the links/buttons easily be controlled by CSS?

    And three questions in return for you:

    (i)What is your zen-cart version?

    (ii)What language are you using when the problem occurs?

    (iii)Does this problem occur in English too?

    :-)

    (i)What is your zen-cart version?

    --> 1.3.0.0 (yes, we will update ;-)

    (ii)What language are you using when the problem occurs?

    --> Swedish

    (iii)Does this problem occur in English too?

    --> Yes, same thing

    I looked around for examples where the links were buttons but found none. Any idea where I can see the links as buttons?

    Now I think you're talking about other links than I was when I read your post the first time (I've seen some shopping cart buttons turn to "regular links" because of language pack errors recently).

    My own shop (www.beterelektro.nl, it is still work in progress btw ;-) ) showns buttons where buttons should be shown, and shows links where links should be shown I think.

    But you can always add one of the the zen button functions to the template wherever you like of course.

    Thanks for helping out, I should have been more clear. I'm trying to get the CSS buttons to show, the code generated is:

    Code:
    <!--bof shopping cart buttons-->
    <div class="buttonRow forward"><a href="http://192.168.1.14/shop/index.php?main_page=checkout_shipping"><span class="cssButton button_checkout" onmouseover="this.className='cssButtonHover button_checkout button_checkoutHover'" onmouseout="this.className='cssButton button_checkout'" style="width: 80px;" >&nbsp;Checkout&nbsp;</span></a></div>
    <div class="buttonRow back"><a href="http://192.168.1.14/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&amp;products_id=3&amp;number_of_uploads=0"><span class="cssButton button_continue_shopping" onmouseover="this.className='cssButtonHover button_continue_shopping button_continue_shoppingHover'" onmouseout="this.className='cssButton button_continue_shopping'" style="width: 97px;" >&nbsp;Continue shopping&nbsp;</span></a></div>

    <!--eof shopping cart buttons-->
    It certainly looks like a CSS button, and I'd like to show it as such (and not a plain link).

    May be that 1.3.0.2 fixes it (I also note that with English language 'Change Quantity' is an image button, where it is a proper CSS button with Swedish - and I have not played around with this at all ;-)

    Right, it is. But, stylesheet_css_buttons.css was missing (and I didn't realize, since some buttons were OK even without it). Thanks both for helping!

    Maybe, but I don't think so.

    This tells us that the CSS buttons are enabled (or at least enabled for *these* buttons). Somehow the styles are not loaded, did you check if the css buttons stylesheet is loaded by the script? Do other the css buttons work correct (on the same page)?

    A, too late, I see you already found it yourself :-D

    Someone decided that css buttons should not contain long texts (which seems undocumented), and that the button should revert to a graphical button whenever the text is long....
