Help moving Zen to a new server

Because my current configuration involves having Zen Cart on a Unix box and the SSL on a windows box and I can't seem to get Zen cart to work within these confines or at least get an answer on how to make it work, i am going to move my installation of Zen Cart to the Windows platform so that both the cart and ssl are on the same platform.

I have already skinned and set up my Zen Cart and really do not want to have to do this over again, so i'm hoping tha someone can please explain the steps that I need to take and how to back up my database and files so that when the new server is ready to go i can just upload the files and database and be back in action. I hope this makes sense.

Any help is greatly appreciated, i am designer and not a programmer, i am already in over my head way to deep ;-)

If by chance someone can explain how to get my copy of zen to communicate with the SSL server saving me this headache that would be even more preferable.
