Header Image Appears in Fire Fox But Not Internet Explorer

my site -> http://www.xtremesurfandsport.com/store will display the top banner fine in firefox, but does not show up in internet explorer. The background file is pretty big (1600 x 279) But I changed the image size to a 50 x 50 and I could still not see the BG image in IE. My stylesheet is as follows any ideas?

}

#navMainWrapper{
background: url('http://www.xtremesurfandsport.com/store/images/layout/top.jpg');

}

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I've just taken a look at your site and the background image that eventually came down when I did wasn't a jpg, but a 300K+ png. So your problem might be related to IE's incomplete support for the png format.

Also your page has two or more each of <html>, <head> and <body> tags which is probably confusing all browsers, but FF is making a better job of dealing with it.

Regarding a new product I added this week, for some reason the three new images for the new CD are not showing up in Internet Explorer, only in Safari. It's bewildering to me why these aren't showing up, when I used the same nomenclature as all previous images, and they are in the same images folder as the others.

Also, I read a thread about adding an image to the home page (define_main_page.php) but the image isn't showing up there either. Is there another images folder the image should be in rather than calling it from the main images folder for the store?

When I look at your site in Firefox and r-click to view the image I get this :

The image “http://www.davidbaroni.com/store/ima...ssion_MED.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

That's the new product image you are referring to?

I can't see any indication at all of an image missing on your main page, but maybe the problem with that image is an incomplete upload ?

You are saying that you purposely made an image called:

mission_MED.jpg

And put that in 2 unrelated products ... and put that in the /images directory?

Even though the naming convention in Zen Cart is:

Main Product Base Image:
/images/greenhornet.jpg

Medium Image for product _info page:
/images/medium/greenhornet_MED.jpg

Large Image when medium image is clicked on from product _info page:
/images/large/greenhornet_LRG.jpg

Additional Images to display on product _info page:
/images/greenhornet_01.jpg
/images/greenhornet_02.jpg
/images/greenhornet_03.jpg

Additional Large Images when clicking on Additional images on product _info page:
Additional Images to display on product _info page:
/images/large/greenhornet_01_LRG.jpg
/images/large/greenhornet_02_LRG.jpg

I'd suggest you give us a link to the site, so we can see what's happening. Sometimes a description of the problem isn't enough.
