showing weight and date

I have show weight turned off, and in a category list the date does not show. However, when I list all products, wight shows up. Also, how can I remove date listed?

You did not state where you have this set to off...
there are different settings for this in the admin > configuration menu

All Listing, New Listing, Featured Listing, Product Listing

Check these out and set your desired display

Sorry, LOL......

In the admin panel go to catalog/product types/products-general (this is were it was for me, could be slightly different for others) - edit layout - in there I turned off show wt (turn it from true to false).

Hope this helps someone else!

I have followed the above procedures and despite managing to turn off product weights when viewing each specific product "product weight" still shows in the "shopping cart" - darn it!!!

Anybody got any ideas how to do away with the wording appearing here too?
