    Default Root Folder?

    Hi,
    i just downloaded zencart and uploaded it to my server. when i go the install, everything is working perfectly, EXCEPT for what im sure is the easiest question in the world to you guys, but i am so scared to mess it up - register globals are turned on on the server. now, really, my site is a subdomain of my husband's and so i cant really ask the hosting company to turn it off completely, however, the below text states that i can make a .htaccess.txt file in the root folder of my store. this is where i am not sure about. what is my root folder called?
    the domain is: www.tooheyworld.com (my husband's)
    and then mine is: www.tooheyworld.com/amongstthings
    and the store is: www.tooheyworld.com/amogstthings/zen

    and exactly what text should i put into this .htaccess.txt file?

    sorry for sounding like an idiot, but i have gone awhile without a store and tried oscommerce first, only to find that all that time i spent on downloading it and uploading it and reinstalling it and hours in the forums, only to never get helpful replies and in essence, waste my time. so, i by mistake found zen cart and so far am loving it. i just need this one little thing fixed. :)

    Zen Cart™ can work with the "Register Globals" setting on or off. However, having it "off" leaves your system somewhat more secure.

    If you wish to disable it, and your hosting company won't turn it off for you, you might try adding this to an .htaccess file in the root of your shop:
    php_flag session.use_trans_sid off
    php_flag register_globals off
    <Files ".ht*">
    deny from all
    </Files>
    or talk to your hosting company for assistance.

    The root folder for your shop is www.tooheyworld.com/amogstthings/zen

    However beware, there's no such thing as an .htaccess.txt file, it is simple an .htaccess file.
