Advise client of ship charges upon calculation

Is there a way to not charge shipping at the time of checkout, but advise customer they will be contacted with shipping charges and charged once calculated?

Normally, I have UPS bill the clients card directly, so I don't get hit will big freight invoices. I'd like to continue doing so. Any option?

You could change the text of the Store Pickup module to something like "I agree to accept charges from UPS on my credit card" and charge them $0
