    Default Accepting Online Payments

Well, I signed up for a merchant account, in which I paid 90$ for. I found out a couple days ago that I should have some processing software in order for me to accept credit cards online, and emailed my merchant about how much it would be to get the Authorize.net software. The software would cost me 125$.

Would anyone know if this is a good deal? It would cost me around 215$ in order for me to get all the software and such that I would need if I were to stick with this merchant.

I'm also having second thoughts with staying with this merchant; all the emails I receive from him seem very unprofessional. For example, if I were to email him a question, I would get a response back that contains only one line. When I asked how much it would be for the Authorize.net software, my reply email ONLY stated "$125" - there was NO "Hello", "Sincerely", etcetc. I may be picky, but that just seems very unprofessional to me.

So, would 215$ be a good deal to stick with this merchant? Can anyone recommend any Merchant that they've been using?

Or, should I just stick to 2Checkout until my website starts picking up?

    Thanks,
    Dove

I am not sure where you are at, but the prices are reasonable and there is even a nice add-on for the Payment Module in our downloads that we have put together for this service ...

Hmm.. 30$ a month. I'm going to check around a bit, and if all else fails, I'll sign up for this one.

    Any other suggestions?
