    Default css issues

    Hi,
    I've just created this website:

    http://www.justrapt.com

    loaded ZenCart v1.3.0.2 and am using a custom template - essentially, I just copied all the files from the template_default folder into my own folder called 'custom', activated in admin under Template Selection - ...and am editing the stylesheet.css file in the css folder (no other css stuff anywhere that I can find) but I'm having dramas with the colours. I simply *cannot* sort out how to set the colours for the borders of the side-boxes. I've looked at the:
    Code:
    #navColumnOne, #navColumnTwo {
    background-color: #ffffff;
    }
    ...but no joy... is there a FAQ that describes how to manipulate the stylesheet effectively?

    Please advise.

    Cheers,
    Robyn

    how to set the colours for the borders of the side-boxes
    If you are refering to the sidebox blue borders, these are images and therefore are not changeable from the css. you can extract the image files and in a graphics application like PhotoShop or?? change the color of the line in the image and save it then upload this new color image to the original location with the same name and it will load as the original but will be the color that you altered it to.

    I just copied all the files from the template_default folder into my own folder called 'custom'
    While your memory is still fresh, go back to these files that you copied and delete all files that you have not edited.

    One need only place files that have been edited in to the override folders. This tracks only the files that you have changed and makes for any future upgrading easier as you only need compare your edited files versus all the files that you currently have copied there.

    This is not the best practice for making a custom template. You only need the files you actually change.

    Hi Kim,
    I should have said: I made a copy of the templates_default folder on my *local* drive, then copied the changed files - in the appropriate folders - up to the working site via ftp...

    Sorry, was a bit nebulous on that.

    Cheers,
    Robyn
