to the custom directory.

Yes buit you are not using a "custom" template

You are using the classic template "classic"

So upload your edited file to
includes/languages/english/classic/

Thanks - just tried it.
Removed from custom folder and added to classic and when I do that, the whole site disappears. Just white screen so I removed it.

Any idea why that happened?

Hi Kobra,

Dreamweaver 4.0. In the code editor, it doesn't save extra code so works fine.

What I did was remove the entire phrase with & and ! as part of the message and it worked fine. I guess it doesn't like punctuation marks in between the ' and '.

For future reference - one can be assured if they use html escape code for special characters
