removing the little category image

when listing the categories i do like the image. but when i go into one of those categories, there will be a smaller version of the category image listed above.

its ugly! what do i do.

actually. all of the changes i have made to product listing (in the admin) have not been propogated on the site. any ideas?

great! now my product looks good. but theres still the little image of the category that the product belongs to, above the product. any ideas??

You can turn off the Category name and image on the product _info pages completely with a switch in the Configuration ... Product Info ...

Previous Next - Navigation Includes Category
Product's Category Image and Name Alignment Above Previous/Next Navigation Bar
0= off
1= Align Left
2= Align Center
3= Align Right

To just turn off the categories_image, you would need to customize the:
tpl_modules_category_icon_display.php

to not include the image in the display ...

NOTE: be sure to use your templates and overrides directory for this ...
