    Default Salesmaker and Product Attributes

    I have a customer who has a store that wants to use salesmaker to put an entire category at 20% off.

    The problem lies in that some products have to be ordered in quantities of 50 with a minimum of 100.

    So what we did was price the item at $0 and put in a dropdown attribute selection with a price adjustment for each selection.

    However the salesmaker is not being applied to the products attributes even if I select "Product is priced by attributes" option.

    Link to the category listing showing the sales:

    Link to the item listing showing the sale not being applied when added to cart:

    Also just got this from the client:

    Scott - All the favors on the site have multiple prices - most have 3 price options, with the exception of the drop down menu items. Therefore the salemaker is only discounting the first price option on all of the favors, leaving the 2nd & 3rd prices at regular price. Is there a way to fix this too??

    Unfortunately, when Priced by Attribute there is nothing to compare the price to for making the discount ...

    You could make the Product Price the main price of 48.00 and then look at the attributes and see if the Price Factor might work for you ...

    Or look at the Discount Qty and Minium/Units and not use the Attributes at all ...

    See the comment my customer left me in the #1 post regarding this technique.

    It is only applying discount to the first qunatity discount price not the rest of the tables.

    Can you come up with a reason for that?

    You cannot use a table like this?
    Code:
    Qty Discounts New Price
    100-149 $48.00
    150-249 $72.00
    250-299 $90.00
    300-349 $108.00
    350-399 $126.00
    400+ $128.00

    Nope because you can only order those items in lots of 50 and they dropship from the Mfg. So she cannot offer 101 pieces for sale. Has ot be 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, 350...

    Any other alternatives? I am open to all options.

    Minimum = 100
    Units = 50

    I don't know how you'd get 101 out of that ...

    I gave up on the question I originally had in this thread and I think it may be related to this issue here:

    http://www.designerbasketsandbeyond....roducts_id=240

    When making a sale say 25% off a whole category of items but the items are priced by quantity discount the Sale does not apply to quantities above and beyond the first inital quantity break.

    So in this example the sale applies to 12-29 pieces. However when you step up to the next break point at add 30 items the sale does not apply to the item in the cart.

    Can we make it apply to quantity discounted items some how?

    Does anyone know how to get the sales to apply to quantity price breaks?

    The Discount Quantity works with the Price or Specials but is not effected by the Sale Maker Discounts at this time ...
