Maybe a nice idea for a new thread: "Tell us how you got your skills" ?

Oops, I forgot at least one: 4.) Stay up at night, sleep is a waist of time.

Hi there,
I am a newbie to Zen and no php coder - so apologies for that!
I downloaded the module and added it to my site. All fine.
Then I noticed that the Ask a Question button had disappeared from my site - and after much faffing I noticed ellivir's post no26 on 20th Sept 06 - here is a copy of her text
............................................
I figured a kind of a bug out:
if you have edited in admin the Layout for the Product type by switching off model number, weight etc., the text for Ask A Question will not appear!
Settings when it won't appear:
Product Type Info Page Layout options :: Product - General
Title Value Action
Show Model Number 0 Info
Show Weight 0
Show Attribute Weight 0 Info
So, I do not want model numbers etc. visible, how would we make this add-on working in that case?
................................................
And that was the answer I was looking for! I have a Showcase site and do not want to list Model, Weight, etc - in fact none of those switches. The only thing I am displaying is the Product Name and Product Description. Is there a simple way of making this work for the above? I am afraid I couldn't work out your answer to ellivir as I am somewhat decrepit with my coding skills and need a bit of hand holding?
Paulm - your post is FAQ-worthy - but pending that, I have added links for downloading FF and the Web Developer's Toolkit to the Wiki under the list of Tools.
Thanks,
Scott

I made the same mistake as TwistedSteel, but I am unable to figure out where I went wrong. Can someone please help?

Thanks.
My site is: test.neworleanscraftmafia.com
Nevermind! I decided not to use the mod.
ask a question can't send email after update from 1.27 to v1.35.
send email and send newsletter work normal.
I believe raino is correct. Has anyone got this to work correctly with 1.3.5 either with a fresh install or an upgrade?
Thanks,
Scott

Well, the good news is that I just installed a 1.3.6 test site (no mods except ask a question) and it works perfectly. So this may have been one of the mail bugs that was fixed in 1.3.5 (see changelog for details - Dr Byte said there were a couple). Please also see this wiki page:
