How to create a daily sale

Hey Ajeh (or anyone else for that matter),

I have a link that takes the person to the daily deal. The item is on sale (just for the 24 hour period) so it shows up in the specials category as well. Is their anyway to have it only show up in the daily deal section (cloned featured section) and not in the specials?

You would need to customize the special to first look at the daily and then exclude that products_id from the select statement ...

I love the Daily Sale module that you have on your site. Are you planning on releasing it as a downloadable module? I understand if you don't, and if you don't then I will probably go through the steps and make one myself and release it, but I just thought since you had already done it that you might be willing to release it yourself. Either way, this is one of the coolest mods I've seen.
