    Default Contact Us, not sending email

    My contact us forum isn't sending emails, if I go through it, it looks like it sent an email, but no email shows up. Is the Doc in? Can anyone help w/ this?

    1. do you have anything in the 'contact us pulldown list' field in the email settings?
    2. if not, that's fine... it uses the "Store email address"
    3. Do either of the above have more than "one" email address listed? If yes, do they have a comma and space between them?
    4. Are all the email addresses formatted properly?
    5. What version of Zen Cart?
    6. What version of Apache/IIS?
    7. Are create-account emails working?
    8. What email software have you attempted to receive these emails in?

    yes, info AT skinevo DOT com

    ok

    just one listed

    I think so

    5. What version of Zen Cart?
    Zen Cart 1.3.0.2

    6. What version of Apache/IIS?

    How do I find this, I have siteground as my host

    7. Are create-account emails working?
    No, I guess not, so when someone creates and account, I should get an email, right?

    8. What email software have you attempted to receive these emails in?
    I am using the cpanel and firebird, firebird for the most part but checked it through the cpanel

    when you place an order, do you get a order-summary email?

    is siteground hosting you on a linux/unix server, or windows server?

    Try emptying the contact-us pulldown setting so that it uses the store email address.

    haha !

    The problem is likely that the address you had entered didn't follow the proper format, as described in the help text next to the field where you enter the email address. For the contact-us pulldown, if you enter anything, you need to supply both the name and the email address, using the prescribed pattern.

    Or, you can leave it blank and it'll just use the store address.
