login page - The page cannot be found

Hello,

I have just installed zencart, and have been working on changing the design, but I am having a problem when I click on the login link, or the checkout button, I get a "The page cannot be found " error.

The paths it is trying to follow are:

index.php?main_page=login

index.php?main_page=checkout_shipping

It is likely when I have been working on the design I have done something, but as I hadn't tried these 2 options since I installed the cart I can't be sure.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi Ajeh,

One thing I just realised though is that I have this setup with a shared SSL certificate, and when clicking on these links it goes to the https: link. When I remove the "s" from https, then I can access the pages I am having problems with at the moment.

I have another zenacrt setup with ssl as well, and I compared the settings in the configure.php file, the only difference I can see is that one has a domain name, the other an IP address.

Could the fact that I only have an IP address be the problem?

This does not look like the correct secure URL:
https://www2897.ssldomain.com/208.106.163.27

So, nothing that is suppose to be secure can run such as login or checkout when you have the secure enabled ...

I have this other one that works with the ssl path in there https://www1069.ssldomain.com/chocol...ain_page=login

I will contact my hosting company and ask them about it showing up, as it is an auto install script that comes with the hosting for zencart.

Any ideas why it wouldn't be working on this first domain though, as it does work on the second one with that in it?

Ok I worked out the problem. It was because I was using an IP address instead of the full domain name.

Also I checked with my hosting company, and because it is shared hosting it will show the ssldomain path, but they have assured me that in no way effects the security of it.
