Two layout questions for my new site

Two problems I would appreciate assistance with here. First is the header_bg.jpg image does not display properly. Second, some of the page elements are stretched or pulled to the right slightly.

1) The header image. It appears that the image has a gap between it and the green bar below it. Also, there is more to the image and its getting cropped at the bottom on my site. Any suggestions regarding fixing this would be apreciated.

2) Some of the green bars and menu items seem to slightly hang off of the right edge of the tan background in Firefox on my PC. In IE on my PC, they don't even make it to the right edge of the tan area. In Safari on my Mac, they hang off the edge again. I'd like to know how to line this back up.

It looks like your trying to build your own template. Its best to base your template design on the following link concept http://www.zen-cart.com/wiki/index.p..._-_Customizing

Using the default template "classic" doesn't always work well.

If you follow the instruction in the link you will fix your problems.

First the height issue:

In your stylesheet.css find the following:

#logoWrapper{

background-image: url(../images/header_bg.jpg);

background-repeat: repeat-x;

background-color: #ffffff;

height:75px; adjust this to the height of your image 90px I believe.

}

Second in includes -> templates -> YOUR_TEMPLATE -> common -> tpl_header.php find the following:

<br class="clearBoth" /> comment this out
<!--eof-branding display-->

Third in your stylesheet.css find the following:
#mainWrapper {

background-color: #BBBB99;

text-align: left;

width: 750px; adjust this to the width of your header graphic which is 760px I believe

vertical-align: top;
