    Maestro and Switch Cards

    Hi All,

New here, so please be gentle. I have read the read first threads and documentation and played with my own install, but need some more help.

Can somebody tell me if these (UK) debit card types are supported by ZenCart, and if so how can I find, configure, or install them.

    Many thanks,
    Gareth

You need a Payment Gateway like PayPal or if you want to accept these cards directly yourself a Merchants Account and a processor like Protx.

I use and highly recommend Conor's Protx Direct Module

We have a streamline terminal from NatWest and only want to capture the card numbers so that we can process them off-line. I have looked at Protx and Worldpay and others but we are a not-for-profit and the prices are prohibitve.

HI. I am having truoble with switch cards. Currently due to low volume I am storing and emailing the relevant info, and procssing with our terminal in the office. Obvioulsy if dmenad increases i will be automating this bt for the foreseebale future i like this method. BUt my store wont accept swicth cards. I have looked at the contrib for switch cards but it looks a abit dated so wondered what people in the uk are doing. Thanks

    Hi Andrew,

Just a quick update on this... one of our clients' sites has taken a bit more work to develop than we hoped but we're meeting with them tomorrow so I can get working on the module at the weekend. That should mean a release early next week!

The switch contribution mentioned above is severely out of date and requires modifying some core files... making updating Zen cart that little bit more painful... ugh!

    All the best...

    Conor
