Shipping Included in Price - Best Practice

Hi,

I have a scenario where all shipping is being included in product price. After some searching around the forums, the simplest advice seems to be

for shipping included create a radio type attribute called shipping and set it by default.
then use the free shipping setting.
and change the language in the free shipping module
includes/languages/english/modules/shipping/freeshipper.
to say shipping included.
that will solve the problems there

I found this in an older archived thread (here) and wonder if there are other solutions now.

That is probably the best way to set up.

If you want to mark your products as Free Shipping ... Just set the Always Free Shipping on the product ...

Be sure to install the Free Shipping freeshipper option ...

In the new Zen Cart v1.3 ... you can control by Product type if the Free Shipping image shows on the product listing ...

If set to YES it will show on each of the templates ...

I can't quite figure out why to 'create a radio type attribute called shipping and set it by default'. The lack of it doesn't seem to prevent me from adding to cart and checking out?

Any thoughts?

DOH!

I think I might get it now... is that (attribute) to store the actual shipping cost as opposed to just adding it to the product price?
