    Default PayPal module edit

My developer set the PayPal module for the temporary URL. Now I need to change it to the permanant URL. However, the module shows that it is UNEDITABLE, see below

    "NOTE: On www.paypal.com,
set your PayPal IPN Return URL to:
    DO NOT EDIT.
This is the URL that PayPal needs to be configured to return to.

    http://www.vintage-movie-poster.com/1folder/index.php?main_page=checkout_process"

What file does this URL above reference so I can confirm correct location?

    Kevin-

You change the URL in your PayPal Account Settings.

First, that edition of the information tells me you're running Zen Cart v1.2.x. If you didn't already know, v1.3.0.2 is out.

Anyway, taking the information supplied, and adding some clarification (which is shown in a more friendly way in v1.3), here are the revised instructions:

    1. On www.paypal.com .....click on the "Profile" option
    2. under set Instant Payment Notification Preferences, set your Instant Payment Notification Preferences URL to:
    http://www.vintage-movie-poster.com/...in_handler.php
    3. in Website Payments Preferences set your Automatic Return URL to:
    http://www.vintage-movie-poster.com/...eckout_process

The instructions above should get you going "for now".

You likely want your developer to do the upgrade ... there will be a number of templating things to tweak and rework into the new template system. In the long run it should make their job easier too.
