Checkout success skipped

I've got an issue with a site I'm setting up where after you click the Confirm Order button on checkout_confirm the system processes the order but goes straight to the Shopping Cart page and says that Shopping Cart is empty.

The order is processed and appears in admin and the emails are sent correctly but the checkout_success page is skipped. I can find anything that is causing this. Any ideas?

NOTE: Zen Cart v1.3.0.2 is the current version ...

You may wish to upgrade first then resolve this issue ...

Also, switch to Classic does it fix this? If so, then something in your template is broken ...

Check if you have add-ons to assure nothing in them have altered the checkout ...

What payment module does this happen with? Does it happen with Check/Money Order?

yeah we managed to resolve the issue. i was having issues with authorize.net and finally they talked me thru with what to put in there and then it worked alright.

definitely use the AIM service in zen cart under admin/modules/payment

with AIM i have the following enabled:
Automatic Decline Credit Card Number:

Card #: 4222222222222

This card number can be used to receive decline notices for testing purposes.

Hi Ajeh,

I've heavily modded the checkout for this shop because it offers flat rate or free shipping for a number of different scenarios which I couldn't work into the free shipping modules -

1. Local delivery (postcode check on delivery address)
2. If people buy certain packs then whole order is shipping free

With these I added code to the tpl_checkout_shipping_default file.

However, regardless of whether people meet these conditions or not the order processes correctly but heads to shopping_cart rather than checkout_success - what could cause this? I'm happy to mod files to make this work myself if you can point me in the right direction.

I have updated to latest version - the issue still arises.

I have removed the hacked lines and turned on the classic template - the checkout_success page is still missed out and it goes to the shopping_cart page.

This is all v 1.3.0.2

Any tips on where the redirection that causes this is written would be very much appreciated.

You may wish to get a copy of Beyond Compare from scootersoftware.com ...

The trial version should be able to do a compare on your PC from a clean Zen Cart v1.3.0.2 and your custom site ...

I recommend buying it ... the real version can do a nice FTP compare from your computer to your website and see if perhaps something on the site isn't what it should be ...

Either way, it will help you find where you might have gone astray ...

It was the minimum order amount module that was causing this problem - sorry for wasting time.
