Hello,
I'm almost got this thing set up but have a couple minor things that i can't seem to solve.

1. Where do i change the Wording that Says "BEST WAY" under shipping? I need it to say something different than that.

2. Is it possible to turn the welcome letter off from being shown?

3. Is it possible to turn off all the little cartoon style graphics that show up on certain pages within zen cart?

I think that's about it for now

Any help is greatly appreciated.

use the developers toolkit to search for "BEST WAY", it does show up in a number of placed.
Do you mean the welcome email?

If by 3 he means the buttons with the icons (add to cart, update cart) he could download a new set of buttons without the icons in them, or turn on CSS buttons in Configuration/Layout Settings/CSS Buttons

Easy way to not display icons is to find what css calls them and then tell them not to show.

For example I turn off the category images, free shipping image, and free image with this simple line at the end of the css :

#categoryIcon, #freeShippingIcon, #productPrices {display:none}

Edit - that was a c/p from another css sorry the #productprices will not show prices at all not just free image. But the principle still applies.

Thanks gang i've got everything straightend out except #2.
I need to stop the welcome letter that a user get's when signing up in Zen Cart. is there a way to disable this letter from being sent?

Admin/Configuration/Email Salutation = false

That doesn't turn off the email - that says not to use Mr. Mrs. ect. that is what a salutation is.

The closest to it in admin is Configuration/Email/Send Email yes/no

There are other options under email but the one noted above isn't going to work ;)

The Admin/Configuration/Customer Details/Email Salutation simply turns on or off whether you ask a customer to identify themselves as male or female.

Like dbltoe suggested, it's a bad idea and you'll probably have to override core files. What ever you do though, don't turn off your 'send mail' or you can forget about mailing newsletters or contacting your customers through the store..
