considering its copyright is a year ago i would guess its out of date for current things.

If you are just starting out then, you will most likely be installing v1.3.0.2. It will not be covered in that book and a lot has changed since it was written.

You will gain a lot more knowledge from the support team/contributors on this forum and the FAQ - Wiki section on the top bar.

P.S. You would be much wiser donating the cost to the Support team (wizards all) Coffee Fund.

I must make a thesis of zen cart in fact and if I need a reference of as administering it that she is what I look for for that reason I ask so that I must give the work in 2 months but and for that reason I need it

You can get much more information right here on the forum and in the docs aavailable than through this book (which I bought months ago).

If someone wrote you a GREAT cart application what would you be willing to cough up for that? Without it you do not need a book...
