making categories bold

Hi. i was wondering if anyone knows how to make the categories appear in Bold but without making the sub categories bold aswell?
i tried adding "<b>category</b>" from the admin in the edit category option
but it shows the <B> </B> at the top of internet explorer which looks kinda lame.


also i was wondering how i could make my sub categories open when the main page loads instead of having to click the main category to view the subs

a.category-top {font-weight: bold;}

There are a few contributions for older versions of Zen Cart that treat the categories sidebox differently. You might want to hunt around, searching for things like these: category tree expanded always open
