Auction Product Type

I down loaded th auction product type, in the Admin Auction Manager settings, there is nothing to select for the settings. example 1. Display previous bids to logged in users
Please make any necessary changes

Display previous bids to logged in users
Allow logged in users see previous bids

There's A update and cancel button but no radio or drop down to select. Just testing I click update, it change to blank, but it won't change back. And my auction box show auction close, it ok when yoy go to the item.

did you look at Admin>Catalog>Product Type>Product - Auction> then click the 'edit layout' button! If you mean theirs nothing there then try running the sql install once more. Layout or options are ether in config or product type and not in the manager.

There's nothing in none of them when I click edit, but the update and cancel.




I click configuration, Auction Manager, if I click on an item to change and click edit, it just have an update and cancel. I have uninstalled and uploaded and installed again and again, once I had two auction type product when I added a product so I went back and uninstalled again and reinstalled and run the update to. This is what I got when I run the SQL patch:

Can someone help me with this problem, has anyone experience this bug before. I had Zen Cart v1.3.9g just upgraded to v1.3.9h. Uninstalled and removed Auction Product Type. I'm trying to get help before I reinstall.

Like I covered before, the settings are not in the Auction Manager, but in the product type 'Edit Layout' for the product layout... and I'm assuming you downloaded the latest 1.2...

The sql error is due to pieces left behind my bad uninstalls, the main sql should have clean it up before re-installing... the auctions_update_all.sql updates the configuration but doesn't replace the tables so not to lose products..

You can ether run the uninstall, then install the main sql, our look in the three areas to see if everything is still in place...

Thanks for your help, I don't know what happened. I uninstall the sql, and went through each folder and deleted each file, then unzipped a fresh download, installed again it looks ok now. all i need to do is test it.

In the sql statement and in my installs its a drop down true/false box.

It's hard to figure out what's going on when all I'm seeing is words on a screen... and I can't reproduce an error on my installs.

The mod is working on 1.8.9g tested in php5.3

It working Ok Now, something must have been missing on my first up load or a corrupt file, because after the uninstall and delete of all the files and a fresh upload, it's working fine. Thanks

I just downloaded and installed the Latest Auction-Product type Contribution. Following the instructions I encountered no errors uploading the files or with the SQL Patch.

Everything seems to work fine, except when I am in Admin:

I select Product-Auction, and click "New Product"

But what is up with the text?
Is "TEXT_" suppose to show on every line?

When I list the product, the listing appears correctly on the site
But I'm afraid there will be listing errors by my employees if we keep the confusing text.

I'm sure this might be something I did incorrectly, but what?

The admin defines are in admin\includes\languages\english\product_auction.php

Try reloading the page and see if that works... your getting the page define text because the defines are missing or for some reason its not getting loaded.

Should be 4 files for all the admin defines... admin\includes\languages\english\
