################ Im telling you that paypal 2.0 is verisign payflowpro
and the 20 a month account you are talking about is paypal PRO with express checkout,
I know I have spent close to 100 Hrs talking to paypal about the 2
remember verisign was bought out by paypal.
stands to reason that they will rename the payflow but its STILL payflow
here is the description

and pricing info

this is what you are refering to
https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/websc...erview-outside
and neither one is worth the price
use a decent gateway and the usps mod
Zen cart PCI compliant Hosting
If it used to be payflo pro and that was verisign, shouldnt the verisign payflo pro payment module work with it?
thats what I have been trying to find out from them,
I have wasted enough time on it now though
Zen cart PCI compliant Hosting
Ive spent the whole day arguing with them about looking at the exsisting module and seeing where the problem is.
They told me it is not their responsibilty to do zencart support, and I should contact zencart.
I know it will work because it is almost there on my site
this is the current error I get
Result code: 7: Field format error: 10542-This transaction cannot be processed. Please enter a valid email address
OK,
I have NO idea what module you are using,
the paypal 2.0 ( payflow pro ) dosnt send an email address
and the express checkout module is not supported here because it dosnt meat their requirements,
what is the name of the module you are trying to use
Zen cart PCI compliant Hosting
talking to them is seriously frustrating . no one has a clue, they hit a wall and send you on to the next level of service and so on . they hung a piece of cheese in front of me and i chased it for about a month . today i had them cancel my service.Originally Posted by Merlinpa1969
after all that they never even got my account activated much less helped me integrate it to the site. however the whole time each one of them promised that soon as i was done with activating thew account that someone would help me integrate it to my site with API. i told them i used zen cart and they said they are not familiar with it but they promise someone will help me install it , guess that was a empty promise if they wont help this other guy ...
hell , the whole time i kept asking everyone of them if the stupid thing even had "ship buttons" similar to how normal paypal works and not a single one of them could tell me even that ...
this is the last email i got from them. id show you the other 20 but they all say pretty much the same thing
the only thing relatively satisfying about the whole thing is that they would call me and give me updates even though they never made any progress. made me feel like they were at least trying.Hi Ryan,
Regarding the functionality you've asked about, we should have an answer for you soon. These features should be available with your "Express Checkout" (EC) transactions. However I'm checking into the availability for gateway purchases through PayPal.
We are continuing to develop a workable solution to get your account up and running. We are making progress here. I hope to have an ETA by midweek. Again, I appreciate your patience in giving us the opportunity to deliver you a solution. I am committed to rewarding your patience with results soon!
I am using the payflow pro module
http://www.zen-cart.com/archived_con...owpro-1.2f.zip
I have payflow pro service
Paypal verisign tech support 888-883-9770
Said that the module im using is exactly the module I should be using, and they have "dozens" of zencart users currently on the exact same set up.
They don't provide instalation support for zencart and will refer you to www.zencart.com for support.
The error code I have
Result code: 7: Field format error: 10542-This transaction cannot be processed. Please enter a valid email address
Is not a payflow pro error, it is a zen cart error
The module was written before zen 1.3 so any changes to Zen since then have not been updated in the verisign payflow pro module
Paypal says that even though they purchased verisign, none of the SDK has changed. All the Verisign servers are the same.
They told me the service I have is a BETA
It is not in official release and no one at paypal has been trained on it.
They said some people with ZEN get it to work right away, others never do.
The payflow pro module is from 02-Mar-2006, This would represent to me, it needs to be examined, and it is the source of the problem.
Correction. It is NOT a zencart error, but a compatibility error with the outdated mod you are using.Originally Posted by replicapropscom
