PS Perhaps installing the Recover Abandoned Carts module would help - I think that will see these orders as "abandoned"

Yes, Paul, I would be delighted to test it. Thank you for taking the time to look at it.
Aside from anything else, taking money from a client without a visible record of what it is for is unacceptable financial practice in the UK, so anything that addresses the issue has to be worth a try.
Yup, that works fine :-)
I set the amail notification to "false" as I had already asked the customer to re-enter the order, but the data all came through to the orders table fine :-)
Nice one, thanks
Thanks all for testing
Because quite some people appeared to be interested in an improved version of this mod I decided to upload the zip: http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showth...462#post560462
It's still very basic, but improved a lot compared to the 2.0 version.
hi
i set this mod up
but you still can't see exactly what the customer ordered, or their address, etc.
I thought that was the point of the mod?
If you read the readme it tells you that it's a bit cryptic.
Look carefully and you will realise that the numbers shown are the product IDs; you have all the address info because the customer had to create an account prior to placing the order.
Remember, this is a quick fix donated for free.

Thanks to paulm for uploading an improved version of the mod.
I'm confused about where I need to enter password and IP address, however:
1. Any password I designate, correct?
2. Can I put in more than one IP? I'm in Colorado and my client is in Indiana. Also, what happens if our respective ISPs change the IP address? Or am I completely off track?
Do I have to put in these things for the mod to work?
thanks!
It should be ignored when you use an empty string. But if you fill in your ip-address it should check it. If a wrong ip lets you complete the orders anyway please report it here: http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showth...462#post560462
Thanks for reply Ryk - I'm not knocking it, just can't seem to gather any useful info. I'm sure it is useful.
What I need to find is some reference to product purchased. Would this bit be the product ID?:
cartID => 62395
If not, what bit is the product ID? If i can find this I can then find out what the product is, theoretically. Saying that, i can't see how you search for product ID in admin, doesn't appear to be a search for that.
Help appreciated.
By the way - is PayPal behaving pareticularly badly for anyone else right now? - none of the new orders are registering in admin, not visibly anyway.
