Idea or Suggestion Re: Configuring Taxes for Canadian Sites/Zones

I got my site working with the tax zones and it is working great! I was wondering if anyone has had to make some customers PST exempt because they are retailing my stuff? I put my retail customers in a group discount and they get 50% but when they go to pay I only want to charge them GST. Does anyone know how to do this?

I'm looking for something similar as well - did you find a solution?

I need to collect tax exempt numbers from SOME customers but not all and I'd love the cart to not charge the tax for these particular customers.

    Just thinking out loud...

If you ran a second site -- it doesn't have to look different, just copy your whole site into a sub-folder -- you could bump your wholesale customers into that site, and have a different tax set-up there just for them.

I'm about to start my second site -- a wholesale version of the retail site you can see in my sig below -- which is why I thought this approach might work for you. Mine is going to be accessed from a different domain, but that's just server book-keeping. The site is actually in a folder "next to" the retail one in the server I use.
